LET’S GO BOWLING!!

We are cruising down to Tanunda to try our hand at Kegel Bowling for the first time. The Kegel club only has one bowling lane but we will make sure everyone has a few turns. The club has been kind enough to hire out the facilities so there isn’t any cost for you and your families to attend.

We will be having a shared lunch, the club will provide cold meat platters but we are asking members to bring a salad or something sweet to share for lunch.

Meeting Point: Munno Para Shopping Centre (behind Dan Murphys)

Time: 10.15 for a 10.30 departure

Please RSVP to Connor. When you RSVP could you please let me know what you will be bringing to share so that there isn’t any double ups!

Kegel is a German bowling game played in Australia, in which a player rolls a wooden or plastic ball along a smooth, hard indoor lane. The object of the game is to knock down the nine kegels at the other end of the lane.

Kegel is based on the traditional German game of nine-pin bowling and is therefore closely related to both skittles and ten-pin bowling. It was introduced to South Australia by German settlers in the 19th century.
