Hello to all members and guests ,
We attended the SMASA show & shine on Sunday and proved once again that not only are We the first formed FPV club in South Australia but We are the best .
We had surprise visit from Leigh Andrew the Production Engineer from FPV in Melbourne , both Leigh and his Wife stated they had a great day and it was a delight to see how well presented and proud we were of our Blue Oval machines .
Thanks all members who attended including the potential members for their hard work in setting up our award winning display .
We must thank SMASA for having us (although We may not be invited again as we cleaned up in the awards department) and for providing us with a great day out .
Maughan Thiem were kind enough o loan Us an FG GT and GS that also helped in our display .
In the wash up We bought home the following and Congratulations go out to all winners .
• Best club display .
• Top Sedan 1990 onwards – 1st place – Brad McAlpine (BF XR6T) .
• Top Sedan 1990 onwards – 2nd place – Sue Hadwen (FG GT) .
• Iron Maiden – Sue Hadwen (FG GT)
Thanks again to all mentioned above and lets keep the great displays continuing with the AFD and Old Skool shows just around the corner .
