  • Mystery Cruise

    Date: 18 May 2014

A mystery cruise for members... with the route and final destination unknown, members arrived at the start point in anticipation to find out where they will be travelling to.

We all thoroughly enjoyed the Mystery cruise starting off at Lecornu's carpark and then travelling up through the foothills stopping off at the Medows Bakery and then down through Aldinga, Maslins' and Moana where we stopped and enjoyed a picnic lunch on the foreshore.   The kids played on the beach and watched the kites while the adults sat and chilled.   We  stopped off for coffee on the way home before saying our farewells and going our separate ways.

  • Rock N Rev

    Date: 04 May 2014

The Rock N Rev weekend was very enjoyable run, we met at the Whitehorse Inn Bolivar before heading north for a day of action.  There were lots of beautiful shiny beasts of all  makes and models.   It was fun just to sit back and watch the drivers show the public what their beast could do out on the strip in a safe environment.   The rain stayed away and the sun shone all day.  Can highly recommend the event and look forward to returning next year.

  • Medieval Fair

    Date: 03 May 2014

It was a brisk morning when we congregated at the Ingle Farm Shopping Center  in preparation for our cruise up to Gumeracha for the Medieval Fair.  Everyone got into the theme of the day and came dressed in their best Medieval garb.   We all enjoyed the entertainment and food and had a good laugh.   A fun day with the weather remaining clear which made the day a success.

  • Easter Cruise

    Date: 19 Apr 2014

Our Easter cruise was a huge success as always and this year we held our Easter Breakfast in Thorndon Park.  On arriving we found a spot under the main pavilion before the guys cranked up the BBQ while the kids hit the huge playground.  It wasn't long before we were all enjoying a scrumptious breakfast of bacon, snags, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms and toast, good job guys !  The kids big and small got an extra surprise this year with a special visit from the Easter Bunny.  Mr Easter Bunny came to say Hi and to hand out bags for the Easter Egg Hunt, the kids followed him everywhere.   The weather behaved itself which made the morning very enjoyable.

  • Old Skool N New Age

    Date: 22 Mar 2014

The Old Skool N New Age event is one of our favorite events we attend every year.   We had a great turn out and the weather was perfect, not too hot and not too cold.   This event always has a great vibe about it and this year was no different, it was nice to mix with not only the general public but members from other clubs as well.  Everyone there for the same reason to share their passion for cars, didn't matter what make or model.  It was a relaxed and enjoyable day and we were very happy to receive a trophy for the club.  Thanks to Off Ya Rocker for hosting a great event and for allowing our club to sponsor some of the trophies.  Look forward to next year!

  • Drive-in Night

    Date: 15 Mar 2014

It was a cold windy and wet evening the night of our cruise, when we met at out meeting place it was blowing a gale.  Everyone shivered even with coats and hats on.  We almost lost George when the wind lifted him and his umbrella off the ground before it turned itself inside out and collapsed.  It did look a little funny.  We had a new couple join us for the night and after introductions we head off with fingers crossed that  the weather would settle.   We arrived and found a spot before we hit the kiosk to stock up on munchies, some even needed a box to carry all their munchies back to their car - not bad considering they were the only ONE in the car.    The weather did clear and we managed to see the movie without having to use our wipers, although during the break we were all forced back into our cars.   The movie was most enjoyable and we all had a good laugh, we look forward to doing again.

  • Geelong All Ford Day

    Date: 16 Feb 2014

The Geelong All Ford Day was a fantastic day, we found the event well organised at a great venue and very friendly and welcoming people all round.   There were so many beautiful cars in attendance it was amazing.  Although it started off quite cold and wet it soon cleared and we were all enjoying the sun and reaching for the hats and sunscreen.   The whole vibe was excellent and our day finished beautifully with taking out a trophy for the Best Presented Club.   Everyone is looking forward to next year with plans well underway.

  • Yorke Peninsula Cruise

    Date: 12 Jan 2014

It was a very warm day when we headed off to the Yorke Peninsula, we had a big turnout with 19 cars in attendance.   It was a lovely drive with our first stop at Pt Broughton where we stopped for morning tea on the foreshore.   We stopped at Moonta for lunch, most opting for the fish & chips.  After lunch we took a leisurely cruise back to Adelaide, traveling through lots of townships and even some unplanned detours.  A great day with great people.
